I operate an accounting practice in Barrie, Ontario and service clients in Southern and Central Ontario. The main focus of my practice is agriculture, specifically financial management and consulting as it relates to farming. Below is a partial list of the services that I provide.

• Full review of the current and year-end financial positions, including ratio analysis
• The planning and development of projected cash flows, and subsequent monitoring of the actual revenues and expenses against the projected
• Monitoring the working capital position to ensure compliance with the operating loan requirements
• Detailed analysis of profit and loss by enterprise within a diversified operation
• Business plan development for credit application(s) as necessary
• Assist when negotiating with creditors for new loan requirements
• Financial statement preparation, both Notice to Reader and Review Engagement
• Assist owners/management with discussions on strategic, succession, and/or estate planning

I was raised on a farm in North East Iowa where we specialized in beef cows and feeding the calves to market weight; farrow-to-finish hogs; and a cropping rotation of corn, oats and hay. I received my education at Iowa State University where I received Bachelor of Science degrees in Farm Management and Crop Science. I have 14 years experience as a lending officer with Farm Credit Corporation, serving the counties of Essex, Kent, Simcoe, Dufferin, York and Muskoka. I also have my Certified General Accountant designation. Currently my wife Anna and I reside in the city of Barrie, Ontario where Anna works in the field of Real Estate.
